Sanguine: a wider narrowboat

We've moved Sanguine into the joinery workshop to continue with the fitout.

Dave has started lining out the interior, the ceiling panels are going on first.

The engine has been placed inside the engine compartment and Zak has started installation.

We've been laying in the 230 volt and 12 volt wiring today.

We've laid the subfloor, with insulation sheeting underneath. The aft section steps up approx 4" to give a shorter travel on the steps down into the boat.

The boat is now ballasted with almost 2000 concrete commons blocks.

We've marked the boat out for skin fittings and other cutting.

Tom and Dave have done a dry fit of the windows and portholes

Zak has made a start on fitting vents and roof lights and preparing the exterior for priming.

The battening is done and we are ready to prepare the interior walls for sprayfoaming.

We're very pleased to received Sanguine into our paintshop today.
